I've had this backpack for nearly five years. It has survived through years of daily use in school, served as a carry-on for flights, and been overall indispensable since I bought it. It has remained in great condition, with only a few small indicators of how old it actually is (the leather is a tiny bit sun-bleached, and the two back corners each have a little bit of fraying). Not to mention, it is soooo comfortable to wear! I have poor shoulders, and more commonplace backpacks always hurt to wear. This one is definitely an improvement, though I will say that part of that may be due to mine being so heavily used. I could not recommend this backpack more!

I bought this backpack as a gift for my son when he started high school. He used it every single day—for school, travel, and now for work—and it lasted nearly a decade. When it finally started to give out, we didn’t think twice about getting the same one again. The new one is just as well made, comfortable, and reliable. This is one sturdy backpack that I know will last a very long time. I am using it everyday and it is showing no signs of wear and tear. I love that it's canvas material which is tough material in itself. It gets a pretty good workout for all the stuff I need to haul back and forth to work, and has been used on hiking trips as well and has gone above and beyond the word "durability". Worth every dollar and I know this will last sooo much longer than "waterproof" bags. I don't need to worry about that so much but because it's canvas, when I do go hiking I just spray on some waterproofing like one would a tent and works great. I will also be using leather conditioner to keep everything as strong as the day I got it.
